Station House Cafe , San Francisco

The atmosphere is country-western at Station House, right down to the friendly wait staff and live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Menu highlights include black bean chili, chicken pot pie spiked with some locally made sausage that is mild and flavorful, and some of the best meatloaf and mashed potatoes going. There is even some great fettuccini and polenta for the regulars craving something a bit more international. Locals and tourists gather here for the great food and to watch a game on the TV in the bar. As one of the more popular spots in Point Reyes Station, reservations on weekends are a must.
