Aspen Recreation Center

The goal of the Aspen Parks and Recreation Center is to get people of all age groups to adopt a more active lifestyle. It offers training facilities for swimming, skateboarding, swimming, rock climbing, trekking, golfing and tennis. Some of its highlights include the 32-feet (9.8-meter) high climbing tower and the 18-hole golf course. It is in the forefront of organizing events in Aspen and has arrangements with hotels to provide accommodation to its visitors. Due to the location of the center, tourists can also visit the Roaring Fork River and Maroon Creek where they can fish. Winter camps, sports training and gymnastics are also organized for children.
