Overview
Sitting atop a magnificent height of 11,300 feet, Climax boasts amazing views of the Fremont Pass and the Rocky Mountains. Originally an old mining town that sought after the mineral Molybdenum, used in steel manufacturing, most of the residents had chosen to move their houses to nearby towns. Now, all that is left are some old storefronts and remnants of a bygone era. If you're looking to get out of town for a bit, you won't be disappointed.
