Dillon Dam Brewery, Breckenridge

Of the many breweries in Summit County, Dillon Dam Brewery seems to rise above the rest. They serve up excellent brew house eats from wraps, pastas, and specialty burgers made beef, chicken, veggie or buffalo (try the Zurich: smoked bacon, guacamole, and gruyere) to gourmet meat entrées such as “Taj Mahal Osso-Bucco" and “San Luis Pepper Duck.” Rock out to live music on Thursdays during the main summer and winter seasons, or sit outside and take in mountain views from the beer garden. And the highlight, of course, their extensive list of award winning home brews from summer ales to the “Damn Straight Lager.”
