The Capitol Hill area boasts an eclectic and diverse population, and each year they get together in Civic Center Park to celebrate the neighborhood. What started as a small local gathering developed into a huge annual event and attracts more than 250,000 people each year. It is one of the largest fairs in Colorado with more than 500 booths with various arts and craft exhibitors. Come to enjoy the food, dance, and continuous live entertainment on six stages. For children there is a putt-putt golf course, face painting, carnival rides and more. Admission is free.

President Clinton once addressed Denver from the stage of the park's Greek Pavilion. The park is also home to the Taste of Colorado, the Cinco de Mayo festival and the annual Capital Hill Peoples Fair. A large fountain, flower gardens and sculptures add to the charm of this small but stately park.
