The Climax Lounge, opened in 1972, has been ever present in Denver's Five Points neighborhood for nearly forty years. The prominent stage has hosted many live acts over the years and it continues to be a favored venue for up and coming local acts. The atmosphere is an odd mix of elegant and dive bar - candlelit tables vie for attention alongside the slightly grungy settings and a bar serving reasonably priced drinks.
