Balalayka is not easy to spot from the street, but it is worth going out of your way to find. Once inside, you are sure to be treated like family. The wait staff is almost all Russian, which certainly lends an air of authenticity to the restaurant. The chicken Kiev is always a good bet. Couple it with a bit of vodka or a sweet pastry for dessert. Balalayka is a fabulous place for small parties and romantic dinners.
