Logan@The Heights is a welcome addition to rapidly-developing Columbia Heights. It is a spacious, wood-paneled restaurant with outdoor seating that serves modern American food, specializing in seafood and comfort food. While the service is hit or miss, it is worth it, especially for happy hour or brunch. If you are at the bar during happy hours try the Stella Artois' and tasty ginger calamari. (Their Huckleberry Caipirovska—vodka, Smirnoff blueberry and frozen lime—is a steal) Finally, The Heights' French toast, smothered in caramel sauce and pecans, is definitely worth abandoning your diet regiment. The restaurant opens Monday to Friday from Noon and Saturday-Sunday from 11 a.m.
