Voted "Best New Restaurant of Bethesda," Mussel Bar lives up to the name and the hype. Opened in the fall of 2010 by Chef Weidmaier, Mussel Bar is known for serving up large, steaming pots of mussels in a variety of savory flavors. In addition to mussels, Mussel Bar's Belgian fries and delicious wood-fired tarts, or Belgian pizzas, are a must. The tarts incorporate fresh ingredients that burst with flavor, and are large enough to share with another person.
