Tako Grill, Washington DC

Considered one of the best Japanese restaurants in suburban Maryland, Tako Grill serves up sushi and traditional Japanese dishes all at bargain prices. Artfully prepared sushi and sashimi are highlights. The house specialty is grilled pieces of fish and vegetables called robatayaki. Dishes such as asparagus in ginger sauce, potatoes in butter or grilled squid make a wonderful appetizer or a light lunch. Customary Japanese entrees are also quite good here. Teriyaki chicken, beef and salmon are all offered on the regular menu, but be sure to look at the daily specials for other fresh fish served teriyaki style.
