Overview

This Asian-style teahouse in the heart of Dupont Circle hosts outdoor Japanese tea ceremonies in summer. The rest of the year, enjoy dozens of exotic teas, breakfast, sandwiches and bento boxes. Teaism also has a small store where you can buy traditional tea settings. Try the ostrich burgers, Japanese bento boxes (rice, sushi, and a hot dish) and rice pudding for dessert. Tea is served in your own pot.
