Overview
A colorful display case of Indian sweets greets patrons at the entrance of this large, but very simple dining room. South Indian food is strictly vegetarian and a bit spicier than its northern counterparts. The signature dish of the region is the dosas, a thin rice crepe folded around several choices of fillings: sauteed potatoes, vegetables and onions. These are accompanied by coconut chutney and a lentil curry. Alcohol is not served here, but an espresso bar serves coffees and teas. Fruit juices, lassis, Indian yogurt drink and milkshakes are offered as well.
