To most folks, Wok and Roll is a small independent restaurant located in DC's small but vibrant Chinatown. History and Civil War buffs might even be interested in the fact that the restaurant occupies the building where John Wilkes Booth and his conspirators met when plotting to assassinate President Lincoln. History aside, Wok and Roll is best known for serving traditional Chinese food and sushi. For tea drinkers and connoisseurs, over 20 varieties are offered, some even claiming to offer therapeutic benefits. Happy hour specials are some of the best around: $1 pieces of sushi and $2 beers, a great pre-game option if you're heading to an event at Verizon Center. If the game is sold out, don't worry, they've got an 80-inch projection television.
