2 DAY ITINERARY
1Before it gets too warm, take your tour of the Daytona International Speedway. You’ll walk the stands and play in the Daytona 500 Experience. If your courage (and wallet) are up to it, drive a race car yourself at the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
1You have time for one last, long day at the beach before heading home. Stock up on sunscreen, towels, snacks and cold drinks and head for the beach early. If you’re up to the travel, head for Smyrna Dunes Park (just stay well clear of the South Jetty). Sit on the beach and veg. Buy lunch from one of the beach wagons. Veg some more.
2When you’re thoroughly crisp and salty, head for J.B.’s Fish Camp for dinner.
3Finish the evening on the pool deck at your hotel; if you’re not beachfront, stop in at The Shores Resort for a few drinks around the firepit.
