This is a popular local spot, both for drinks and for dinner. The menu was painstakingly designed to stand out from the competition, the result being a distinctive and artistic selection of Cuban-inspired seafood dishes. It would seem that the efforts of Chef Peter Boulukos are well appreciated, as Himmarshee's almost always has a full house. The restaurant is semi-casual, and draws a primarily professional crowd. Calico scallops make a flavorful starter. Or for a more exotic beginning, try the plantain and lamb empanadas. The best entrees are generally seafood options, although veal strip steak is the equal of any dish from the sea.
