The Morgan House Restaurant and Trading Post is one of downtown Fort Myers' oldest landmarks, converted from a private home in 1923. The Old Florida setting is casual and the menu offers local recipes. Start with mushrooms stuffed with stone and snow crab. Entrees include tortellini, grouper picatta, and filet mignon oscar. Save room for caloosahatchee mud pie, three kinds of ice cream, fudge and cookies. There's also a kid's menu. The restaurant seats 150, with a smoking section.
