The chef, John Jones, used to work at Palm Beach's world-famous Renato's, and now he brings his expertise to Chef John's. Located in Fisherman's Wharf Plaza, the upscale restaurant attracts a mostly well-heeled crowd with Italian and French-inspired dishes. Try the Fois Gras appetizer (with French toast and pear balsamic reduction) or the Osso Bucco (braised veal shank in a red wine and vegetable sauce with saffron rice). Their grilled swordfish special, which comes in a balsamic brown butter sauce with diced tomato and capers, has been featured on Bon Appetit's website. Jones also creates excellent dishes with fresh fish that is flown in from Hawaii. Don't forget to sample something from the award-winning dessert menu.
