Verdi's, located on Marco Island, offers its customers an upscale, extravagant dining experience without the pretension and excessive prices. Chef Guy and his talented staff create masterpieces such as the delicious nut crusted Tilapia with brown butter rum sauce and the Pork Milanese with a sweet balsamic drizzle. Chef Guy even takes a page out of his mother's cookbook and uses her recipe for the New England clam chowder. As for wine, Verdi's cellar boasts more than 70 kinds to choose from. If your palate can take any more, try one or several of the sumptuous homemade desserts, which include a velvety Cuban coffee crème brûlée, a Sugarless Panna Cotta, and a warm deep dish apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream and a caramel drizzle.
