Chef Andrea Menichetti comes from a family of cooks and is the owner of Vine E Olio in the Design District. Since his parents own a two star Michelin restaurant in Tuscany, he decided to open his own in Miami. The large 5600 square foot interior displays glass lit walls and dark wood accents and is breathtaking. One wall reveals the kitchen's inner workings. Vine E Olio seats about 200 guests and has outside tables. The food is Tuscan fare made with fresh, local and imported ingredients. Entrees are rustic and hearty, but there are also sophisticated twists to the cuisine. Try the roasted suckling pig with fennel and wild mushrooms.
