This new place offers breakfast all day, and that is great news for a city that parties this hard. It also offers live music on weekends starting Thursday. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone: from pancakes and breakfast burritos, French toast and bagels, steak and eggs on an English muffin to pulled pork, mac and cheese, pasta and TexMex. There is a vegetarian menu, too. Owner Chris Barron is from New Zealand, hence the second part of the name: "kai" means food in Maori! The decoration is eclectic: tons of vinyl records, album covers, red walls and black tables and chairs. There is a stage where groups perform on weekends.
