The course on Williams Island has long been known for its excellent greens. Almost all holes on this course are interrupted by water in some way. There is also a good deal of sand. Because of its Biscayne Bay location, it is usually very windy. The par 3s are long from the back tees. Interestingly, the course was originally designed by Charles Mahannah and redone by his son Mark.
