  • Day 1
  • 1 Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is your first stop. Get there early to beat the lines (and, in the summer, the heat). Buy a three-day ticket with the park hopper option.
  • 2 Have lunch at Crystal Palace (with Pooh characters) or return to Magic Kingdom for afternoon.
  • 3 Eat dinner at the California Grill in the Contemporary Resort
  • 4 Head back to Main Street USA for the Main Street Electrical Parade (until August 14, 2010) and fireworks.
  • Day 2
  • 1 Change your venue and check in to Universal for the day. Buy a two-park ticket so you’ll have access to both Islands of Adventure (where the new Harry Potter attraction is located) and Universal Studios.
  • 2 Enjoy a lunch at Hard Rock Cafe and ask for a tour of the memorabilia.
  • 3 Head back into the park for the rides and roller coasters you skipped in the morning.
  • 4 Eat dinner at Emeril’s at Universal City Walk.
  • 5 After dinner, check out who’s playing at Hard Rock Live or walk over to the Latin Quarter for some salsa dancing.
  • Day 3
  • 1 Head back to Walt Disney World for the day. Start at EPCOT and spend the morning working your way through Fast Track, Living Seas, Captain EO and the country pavilions.
  • 2 Grab lunch at San Angel Inn or Chefs de France.
  • 3 Hop a Disney Bus to Animal Kingdom and spend the afternoon exploring the nature exhibits and riding Expedition Everest.
  • 4 Enjoy dinner at Jiko.

  • 3 After lunch, walk St. George Street and browse the shops, or break out the bathing suits and head for Anastasia Island State Park.

  • 5 Have dinner at 95 Cordova in the Casa Monica Hotel.
  • Day 5
  • 1 This your third day at Walt Disney World. Start by visiting the fourth park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, then work your way back to pick up the attractions you missed the first two days.

  • 3 Finish up in the parks in the afternoon.
  • 4 Dine at Victoria & Albert’s in the Grand Floridian.
  • Day 6

  • 2 If you did the beach, shower off and head back toward Orlando, stopping in Ybor City to have lunch at the Tropicana Café at Seventh Avenue and Angel Olive Senior Street.
  • 3 After lunch, check out the museum at the Ybor City Visitor Center in Centro Ybor and visit the shops and tabacaleras along Seventh Avenue.
  • 4 Visit the Florida Aquarium in neaby Channelside.
  • 5 Have dinner at the historic Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City.

  • 3 Visit the Morse Museum or, if you’re with young kids, the Orlando Science Center.
