Overview
Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge is the largest wildlife refuge in central Florida. The motto is to rescue wild animals in trouble, raise the young who have been abandoned, rehabilitate the injured animals once they have recovered and release them back into the wild. It has over 2500 animals including wild cats, raccoons, bobcats, hybrid wolf, birds and cougars. Although groups have to pay for admission, the entry is usually free for individuals. Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge is always looking for volunteers and sponsors as it is through their help that this organization survives.
