Rock Springs Run State Reserve, Orlando

Rock Springs Run State Reserve, found 30 miles north of Orlando in Sorrento, provides visitors a chance to experience Central Florida in its native setting. This reserve encompasses over 10,000 acres of wetlands and dry areas, plus natural waterways in the form of springs and a river that nearly surround the boundary of the reserve. Visitors can choose from several outdoor activities, such as bicycling, hiking, horseback riding (rentals and tours) plus canoeing and wildlife viewing. The park highlights consist of 17 miles of multi-use trails spread throughout and overnight lodging including cabins, equestrian campsites or canoe campsites.
