Overview

An animated schoolmaster and his pupils depict what school life was like in the 1800s at this schoolhouse which was built over 200 years ago with red cedar and cypress, as well as hand wrought nails and wooden pegs. This school is the oldest wooden schoolhouse in the country and related artifacts and copies of the books the pupils studied from are exhibited throughout. A gift shop is also on site.
