Alon's Bakery, Atlanta

Alon's Bakery is a small cafe in the popular Virginia/Highland area of Atlanta making artisan breads, European-style pastries and cookies daily. This place is haute couture for elegant cakes and "a must" destination for all "sweet tooth" visitors of Atlanta. All pastries and cakes are excellent but some are to die for: Chocolate Raspberry Mousse, Frasier (fresh strawberries topped with a pistachio cream with layers of lady's fingers) or the Opera cake. Alon's is a fantastic spot for lunch as well, with tables situated both inside and out, one can enjoy soups and/or made-to-order sandwiches.
