Overview
Tucked away in a small strip mall on Ponce de Leon Avenue, The Bookhouse Pub feels like a secret literary hideout. The dimly lit, woodsy interior is lined with books. The small gastropub is named for the secret society in David Lynch's 1990s television show, "Twin Peaks." Aside from the Laura Palmer Wrap, the menu stays away from obvious connections to the show. Instead, you'll find an eclectic mix of chef-driven appetizers, sandwiches and entrees like collard green egg rolls and seared duck breast with risotto. Of course, being a bar there are plenty of libations to choose from. In warm weather, grab a seat on the patio out back, also known as Dr. Jacoby's Coconut, where tiki chic abounds. - Rachel Quartarone
