Breakaway Grill, Atlanta

Located at the Ice Forum, Duluth's ice skating facility, the Breakaway Grill is a place to find hungry skaters and ice hockey players. The real appeal of the Breakaway Grill is that its second-story location overlooks the practice rink for Atlanta's NHL team, the Thrashers. Floor-to-ceiling windows let you watch practice while eating wings or a sandwich. It's not unusual to see the Thrashers coaching staff and members of Atlanta's sports media dining at the Breakaway Grill, too. The house specialty is an appetizer of fried calamari, and there are several pasta dishes from which to choose. The burgers are another popular choice.
