ChocoLaté Coffee, Atlanta

ChocoLaté Coffee's owners started their independent coffee shop in 2002 as a way to escape the corporate world. With two locations in Atlanta and one in Decatur, this quirky coffee shop allows its loyal patrons to escape, as well. Local artwork hangs on the walls to add flair, and the atmosphere is decidedly relaxed. Funky architecture and low lighting set the mood, and there are plenty of places to kick back, including overstuffed couches. Small private meeting rooms offer a place for business meetings, book clubs and other appointments. Smoothies and pastries complement a full menu of organic coffees and teas. In addition to the pastries, there are gourmet desserts available to tempt every sweet tooth. -Beth Dolgner
