Varasano’s Pizzeria, Atlanta

Located in Buckhead, Varasano’s Pizzeria is home to what some critics consider the best pizza in Atlanta. Owner Jeff Varasano spent years traveling the globe and perfecting his pizza recipe in his home kitchen before opening a pizza joint of his own in 2009. Varasano’s offers thin crust New York style pizzas, piping hot and slightly charred around the edges. Traditional favorites like Margherita are on the menu as well as unique creations like the New Haven Clam or Dolce with Medjool dates and Fontina cheese. Start your meal with a salad or salumi platter and end it with some Italian donuts or panna cotta. With a lively bar scene, you’ll want to hang out late into the night.
