Savannah Movie Tours

This company offers two different movie tours in an air-conditioned bus. One is a 90-minute Savannah Movie Tour that features 65 film locations along with clips shown on LCD screens. Stops include views of the Mercer House and where Forrest Gump sat on a bench. The other tour is the 4 ½-hour VIP Movie Tour that includes a tour of the Mercer House, lunch at Lady & Sons Restaurant and several souvenirs. The owner/tour operator is “Hollywood Ron”, a native of Savannah and a graduate of the UCL Film School, has plenty of entertaining information to share on these tours. - Natasha Lawrence
