Overview
A project of the Bishop Museum Foundation, this garden is a re-creation of the farms and forests of Western Hawaii prior to European settlement. It spans 15 acres near the Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve. Guests can take the 20-minute walk that leads through the most significant points in the garden or relax and explore it in depth. There is no entrance fee, but a $4 donation is requested. Guided tours are offered at 1p daily.
