Overview

A Hawaiian family owns and operates this all-terrain tour company, and they like to make sure that no guest leaves without getting deep into the Hawaiian countryside. The tour travels down bumpy plantation roads, along the rugged coastline and along high bluffs. If you don't like to get your hands dirty, this isn't the tour for you. Adventurous souls will definitely get a kick out of it, however. Tours last approximately 90 minutes. Riders must be older than 16 and weigh less than 220 pounds (99.79 kilograms).   I agree with several of the other reviews recommending that you stay clear of this outfit. This attraction is way over priced. This is the real experience: You travel single-file like a herd of cattle down a dusty, dead grass field/trail of the kind found most everywhere on the mainland. Venturing off the trail or a few feet from the group is not tolerated. The speed is so slow that you feel like you are on a kiddie guide-rail ride. It is hot and humid but you must still where a sock mask that completely covers your head with only a small opening for you face. You helmet is worn over this scratchy mask. This is extremely uncomfortable and makes for some hilarious bad hair days at the rest points when people remove their gear. We had all of TWO stops to take photos. Of course who wants pictures of all the dusty , dead fields in between? The ride is over in about an hour to an hour and a half at which time you are thinking "How much did I just get taken for?!" The only part of this awful ride that was nice was the waterfall at the mid-point. I recommend seeing the numerous waterfalls by some other method -- not this way. Please avoid this "attraction" unless you have money to burn and absolutely nothing else to do on the island....   Read More
