Overview
Kalakaua Park is a historic park named after King David Kalākaua, a Hawaiian king (ruled during the period from 1874 to 1891). This green stretch of land provides respite from the city hustle-bustle and is truly a serene space. While visiting this park, tourists can also view the statue of King David Kalākaua and a stone marking the time capsule burial in July 1991 during the solar eclipse.
