Overview
As far as museums go, this one is on the small side. It is housed inside an old general store in the tiny settlement of Kalukalu. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Inside, guests can peruse historic photographs, browse through books, and enjoy old-fashioned candy bought - where else - at the counter of the historic Greenwell Store. The Kona Historical Society also offers walking tours and special-interest lectures. Admission to the museum is free.
