Cuisine: Japanese
Overview

Widely considered to be one of the best Japanese restaurants on the Big Island, Miyo's started off as a fairly small eatery within the Waiakea Villas, and now is a full-fledged independent restaurant in the bustling Manono Marketplace. The menu is traditional Japanese with everything from tempura to sushi done fresh and well although prices are a bit on the high side. The kitchen continues to impress with the high standards that made the original such a standout. Interiors remain simple, though the cheerful lanterns add a nice touch to the proceedings. The ramen shop is an exciting addition to the restaurant and one that regulars will look forward to. No longer a hidden hangout of those in the know, the delightful restaurant is one of the top players in Hilo's culinary landscape.
