Original Thai boasts - you guessed it - original Thai food. The panang curry is to die for, along with their traditional spicy lemon grass soup, noodle dishes, salads and various stir fry delights. But the chef of this out-of-the-way establishment also throws in a little creative Hawaiian inspiration, fusing traditional Hawaiian with Thai flavor to come up with creations like Thai Lau Lau and plate lunches. Lunch specials (talk about original burgers!) are a steal and dinnertime sees the place hopping. Look for Original Thai in the plaza off Kuakini highway. This family-owned establishment is worth the search. Catering is also available.
