Tucked away in a corner of the Banyan Tree Center in Kona, this tiny restaurant is one of the more interesting along Alii Drive. The menu is eclectic to put it mildly, as you'll find everything from hummus to macadamia nut shrimp stir fry on the menu. The setting is colorful, cozy and certainly very intimate. It is perfect for a quick meal after a visit to the nearby Kailua Pier, which is a popular place to watch the sun set. Rapanui (the name of the Polynesian people of Easter Island) is the perfect name for this place, as the menu contains a Polynesian central theme with Chilean accents and some Asian flair. There is lots of parking in the public lot in the rear.
