This sushi stand is an up and coming hit in the small plantation town of Hawi. The setting is quaint and hardly noticeable among the boutiques and galleries that are huddled along the highway in the center of town. The menu is a simple one with sushi standards and fresh ingredients that cater to the carry out crowd. Ordering ahead is the better approach, since the lines and wait can be long. California rolls, spicy tuna and other standards are tasty and affordable. Street parking is the only option but there is usually a spot on either side of the highway.
