Wasabi’s, Hawai'i (Big Island)

Located at the very heart of Alii Drive along the waterfront in Kailua-Kona, this restaurant is easy to find and offers superb authentic Japanese cuisine, fresh and flavorful sushi, and great service at reasonable prices. Word of mouth has made this small eatery one of the favorites with tourists when in Kona. The menu offers a good selection of sushi, seafood and even popular island poke. Dinner menu offers a generous selection of combination plates including steak, teri-chicken and tempura, and Katsu Chicken which is yummy and crispy. The restaurant is tiny by resort standards, so a wait for a table at peak hours is not unheard of.
