Banana Leaf Pasta Cafe, Honolulu

The small restaurant is located on the ground floor of the McCully shopping Center, one of the islands busiest strip malls. The intimate café boasts a clean and modern décor with trendy colors and upscale seating. The Banana Leaf Pasta Cafe is the sister of the popular Banana Leaf Italian Bistro in Kaimuki, and the menus at both eateries are almost identical. The café features pasta stylings in an untraditional way. Flavors and combinations are not hearty, rich, and tomato based, they are more creative, with unusual and sometimes delicate flavors combined to wow the palate and awake the senses.
