Chef Masaharu Morimoto has finally claimed his spot in Waikiki. Located on the second floor of the upscale and intimate Modern Honolulu hotel, the spacious and airy restaurant offers glimpses of the Ala Wai Harbor through sheer white curtains that tame the tropical sun. Furthermore, the decorations provide a translucent ambiance in a modern dining room with apple green and cobalt blue accents. Unlike most of the other restaurants, this one offers breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner. The menu also offers traditional Japanese breakfast with miso soup, a warm house made tofu called yose dofu, along with traditional western selections, including Eggs Benedict.
