Rosie's Cantina, Honolulu

Located in Haleiwa, this restaurant has been in the same spot for many years. Catering to mostly the North Shore locals and a strong weekend lunch crowd have kept this spot humming for a long time. It can be busy in the weekend evenings when what seems like all of the North Shore folks are out and about, but if you arrive early, the lines can be avoided, and a table to enjoy a casual dinner will not be a hassle. The food can be good or average—it seems like the quality is not consistent, but what is consistent is the active collection of North Shore beach hotties that always seem to be around, especially during the winter surf season. - Lottie Tagupa
