Soul de Cuba, Honolulu

Located in Downtown Honolulu directly across the street from the historical Hawaii theater, this restaurant is intimate and inviting. The café is filled with personal touches, warm spiced colored walls and African Caribbean artwork. The menu features several traditional items like Ropa Vieja and Picadillo, but the Pollo Soul de Cuba is a fantastic experience with flavors of mango, guava, beans and rum. This is the perfect spot for a pre-theater dinner or a post work gathering but by all means do not leave until you've had one of their mojitos, which many say are the best on the island. - Lottie Tagupa
