Overview
It's about an hour and 45 minutes from Honolulu. Not much to say about how to get there except to drive to the end of Farrington Highway until in ends at the Kaena Point State Park. It's known to locals as Yokohama Bay, or Keawaula Bay. It is a wonderful sunny spot where it is not uncommon to spot pods of dolphins and shoreline fishermen. It is perfect for a long shoreline hike, to explore tide pools and picnic. The water conditions are difficult at best here and although there are lifeguards, this beach is considered expert for surfers and swimmers. Restrooms are available. - Lottie Tagupa
