2 Kayak the Wailua River with Wailua Kayak and Canoe to Uluwehi Falls. (Lunch is provided).
3 Spend the rest of the afternoon at Lydgate Beach Park.
4 Enjoy taking your best shot at being a locovore at Hukilau Lanai.
5 Stroll the beach and then over to Trees for an after dinner cocktails and music.
Day 3
1 Grab a late brunch at the Hanalei Gourmet before a day of hiking and scenery.
2 Hike the Kalalau trail (closed during winter months due to surf) two miles in to Hanakapi’ai Beach. For more adventure, head up the valley to the 200-foot waterfall.
3 Hike back out with a well-earned swim at Ke’e Beach.
4 Stop for a hearty apres-hike Tiki-Man pizza and stiff drinks at the Tahiti Nui.
Day 4
1 Grab a satiating breakfast and hit up the bloody Mary bar at Olympic Cafe.
2 Walk the bike path at Kealia Beach Park in Kapa’a.
3 Head a bit further north to sample the best burger on island: the “local girl” or “local boy” at the unassuming Duane’s Ono Char Burger.
4 Head even further north and grab some groceries at Princeville Foodland (4280 Kuhio Hwy, Princeville) for a picnic dinner at Hanalei Bay and watch the sun set behind Makana.
Day 5
1 Breakfast at Grove Cafe.
2 Load up on water and snacks at a local Japanese grocery store along Kaumualii Highway.
