Eggbert's, Kauai

Located in the Coconut Marketplace Shopping Center, this casual restaurant is the spot where tourists and locals gather for friendly service and yummy dishes. The restaurant is a great walking-distance alternative for a few hotels, and they serve up freshly brewed island coffee and breakfast treats like tropical pancakes, Portuguese sausage and banana macadamia nut pancakes. The décor is certainly not the cookie-cutter style of the chain restaurants - the tropical touches and welcoming atmosphere are much more unique. There is a kid’s menu, lots of free parking and is convenient for Kapaa area visitors who are heading to Waimea Canyon or Poipu for the day. -Lottie Tagupa
