Overview
One cannot leave Maui without a day along the Hana coast. It all starts in Paia with a full tank of gas and a picnic lunch. The experience is one filled with flower scented air, waterfalls, tropical rainforests and fresh water pools. You can take a leisurely drive and enjoy the coast from the car, or you can opt for hiking trails and exploring lava tubes along the way. The trick is to start early and return before nightfall.
