Sam Sato’s, Maui

Located in parts of Wailuku that hardly ever see a rental car or a tourist, Sam Sato's is a unique spot with lots of local ambiance and is a landmark in the hearts and minds of islanders. The business has been an institution for years and the tradition of gathering in the Millyard for the freshly made manju, saimin and other local favorites is perhaps more than the average mainstream tourist can appreciate. But for those who want to experience "where the locals go" this is promised land.
