This venue is in a beautiful setting, but really fell short for the concert experience. First of all, they charge an excessive amount for the VIP and assigned seating, compared to the general admission lawn seating. Unfortunately, despite the cost, these assigned seats are just rows of rented folding chairs that are so close together you are practically in each other's laps. The rows are so long without aisles, that it would be horrible to be seated in the center, because you'd never be able to leave your seat once you're down. The other problem with this set-up is that they advertise and have signs saying only the low-chairs can be used for lawn seating, no more than 8 inches, I think is the rule. However, the VIP seats are normal folding chairs, which are in front of the whole lawn seating. So if you're in a low seat on the lawn, you cannot see the stage over the assigned seats. I noticed several people with regular lawn chairs, despite the signs that said they weren't allowed, so I asked one of the ushers who told me they had so many complaints about it, that the owners have now told them to let any type of chair in. That would solve the problem if it was advertised that way, but all the signage says otherwise. So when you follow the "rules" and bring your low chair, you will be behind tall chairs no matter where you sit. The other complaint that I have is that the stage is set to the west. I would imagine that every single concert they offer here will be in the evening. So you are facing the hot sun in the west beating down on you and blinding you. Seems like it would have made more sense to put the stage to the north, so the sides of the stage could shade the performers, but the audience could still see the show (assuming they bring a tall enough chair, that is!). Overall I was extremely disappointed with this venue and would hesitate to attend any other performances there in the future....   Read More
